| Adam's Rose (Wekromico) Weeks 2008 Named in memory of Adam Doughty who died of meningitis at the age of eleven. Adam’s Rose is a floribunda with a memorable fragrance. Producing clusters of purple-pink flowers from June to November, this compact rose reaches approximately 60cms (2ft) high and just over 30cms (1ft) wide. Leaves are medium to large, mid green and glossy. It grows well in a pot or en masse in a border and, like all roses, it prefers an open sunny aspect. Twenty per cent of the sale of each rose will go toward the Adam Doughty Tribute Fund created to raise money benefiting the fight against the killer disease, meningitis.
