| Josephine (Weksiamia) Carruth 2009 Famed for huge dark, almost blood-red flowers, Rose Josephine makes an impressive and conspicuous addition to any garden. The flowers look particularly strong against the bright green foliage. New foliage is distinctive and fresh against existent growth. It flowers from June until November or until the first hard frost. Rosa Josephine is a great repeat-bloomer and responds well to dead-heading. The rose grows between 2.5-3ft tall and some 2ft wide. Rosa Josephine was named for international best-selling author Josephine Cox who selected Barnardos as the beneficiary of sales.
